Megan Reitenour has secured a position with Revolution Racing in NASCAR's elite program. Reitenour had participated in the testing and evaluation combine back in October of 2009, where she was evaluated on her on-track performance and off-track interactions with coaches, program mentors and media personality. The official announcement from NASCAR will be released at Daytona International Speedway confirming Reitenour's selection for the team.
Drive for Diversity is one of the most aggressive competition-based diversity programs in all of sports. In 2009, 12 Drive for Diversity drivers combined for six wins, 51 top fives and 125 top-10 finishes. Reitenour to include to the total with 7 top five finishes, 16 top ten finishes, in a total of 17 events and also secured Rookie of the Years honors, being one of only two drivers in the program to do so.
Reitenour relocated to Mooresville, NC in January of this year, to enter an academy-style development program under a single team ownership structure of Revolution Racing. Revolution Racing will own and operate ten teams in the center of NASCAR with greater access to industry resources, technology, training, testing, and shop experience. Reitenour being only one of six drivers chosen in nation to participate in the programs NASCAR Whelen All-American Series. Megan will be competing at various tracks throughout the south east region of the United States.

It's giving me not only daily access to the shop but I get valuable hands on experience, which I believe will only make me a better driver. This program has made it possible for me to continue my career in racing and I'm so thankful to NASCAR and Revolution Racing for the opportunity to do so. I hope to do a great job and that it opens other opportunities for me to advance within the various levels of NASCAR. I'm really excited for the challenge and look forward to the season ahead of us."
