Mayor Church wished Megan success and safety and asked her to always remember the city that she came from. He then presented Megan with her award and invited her to the podium for any words she might like to say. Megan said, "I would like to thank Mayor Church, Miamisburg City Council, and the City of Miamisburg for this award. I would also like to thank my friends and family that are here today. As you can imagine, racing takes a huge support system and I feel blessed that I have that in my life. I will be moving to North Carolina to pursue my career in racing, but I will always have a special place in my heart for the City of Miamisburg and I hope to make the city proud."
